Going along with the second volume of the We've Got You Covered series for all you Bowie-lovers out there and also because I realized some rummaging in Mr. Bowie's back catalogue, especially the Young Americans and 1. Outside alts, here's the simple package reupload deal for, I suppose, all those new visitors from Brazil (Olà!) and Vietnam (Xin chào!)...I don't know how y'all got here, but welcome! Now you just have to simply ask for a link instead of just going through the backlog in vain!
Anyway, uncle OBG's got you, so here are in one tidy package all alt albums of Bowie that I've done: The OBG version of Never Let Me Down, 1. Outside sequel/side-quel 2.Downtown, and the whole plastic soul extravaganza of Young Americans - The Complete Edition and Shilling The Rubes. This summer I might get back into some Bowie work to go along with these, but to visitors, old and new, here's the Bowie megapackage if any of you need it...or want it...as usual there's tons of info in the accompanying write-ups.

So, the Byrds alt album mega pack, this one, is now re-upped, as are the two Beach Boys alt albums and Alice Coper's Ruckus At The Movies. That should keep some of y'all occupied...

I humbly offer you a possible clue why folks may not be asking for a link. What do you mean by "alternate" albums? Did you explain this somewhere and I missed it? Re- positioning or re-ordering of songs, adding to or subtracting songs, editing of song lengths, enhancing or remixing of songs and how did you do that, or something else? I'd like to know, and do others care?

Deleteit's all of the above, to different degrees, in terms of what an alternate album could mean.
I usually go to great lengths in the individual write-ups to explain what I did and why I did it. Anyone who would like to know more, can look up - in this case - David Bowie in the content bar on the left, click on the individual albums and read up on what is going on with these albums. Which is what I proposed in the write-up up there.
I'm not sure the major hesitation to ask for link is due to confusion over what it is people are looking at, but it does take more involvement (minimally so, but still..) than to silently come in here, grab the music and be gone...
Still, thanks for commenting. There is no real FAQ which would explain what an alternate album as such is, but my goal in this blog, besides bringing great music to people, is also bringing great music in a configuration that they normally don't, won't or can't have...
And as usual, folks, just throw on your online translator, and ask for a link...
